WonderMicrobes is a multi-culture concentrate available in liquid form. It is composed of at least twelve select microbial cultures and enzymes designed to bioremediate almost all fractions of crude or modified petroleum products and paraffin wax. They are also effective on animal and vegetable oils and fats.
Powerful soaps in WonderMicrobes break the hydrocarbons into minute molecules. The microbes then attach themselves to the contaminants and reduce them to carbon dioxide and water. The microbial cultures continue enzyme production until all oil contaminants and other organic wastes are consumed. WonderMicrobes is non-toxic, non-caustic, non-corrosive, non-pathogenic (harmless) and is biodegradable.
WonderMicrobes effectively removes surface and embedded stains from spilled petroleum products on concrete and asphalt garage floors, driveways, shop floors, loading docks, fueling areas, parking lots and oil storage areas. It inoculates the contaminants with bacterial cells and oxygen catalysts necessary for complete biodegradation. This formula can also be used for washing soil, sand, gravel and loose rocks and for cleaning heavy machinery.

Shake or mix thoroughly before dispensing.
Hard Surface Cleaning: Dampen the contaminated surface, apply WonderMicrobes and allow it to work for 20 -30 minutes, then brush and rinse. Keep the work site damp during treatment and repeat if necessary.
Porous Surface Cleaning: Scrape surface, dampen and apply product. Leave on the surface a minimum 2-3 hours. Use burlap cloth or similar breathable moisture holding covering if longer periods of time are necessary. Scrub the surface periodically if dirt is heavily compacted. Rinse.
For soil remediation: Apply 1.0 gallons per cubic yard of soil to be treated. Soak the soil thoroughly after application. Keep soil damp during remediation which may take several weeks. Air tubes inserted into the ground for deeper contamination will accelerate rate of bioremdiation.
Tank Cleaning: Dilute 1:3 and apply by sprayer. Leave on the surface for 10 - 15 minutes, to allow penetration, and remove with a pressure washer (use dechlorinated water). 1 gallon of concentrate should treat 100+ feet of tank surface.
Tanks that have larger quantities of remaining hydrocarbons should be filled with water and aerated during remediation period.
Precautions/Limitations: Read and follow precautions on MSDS. Pretest new equipment finishes by applying to a small area first. Optimal performance is on damp concrete surfaces.

WonderMicrobes Standard are specifically designed as a remediaton tool for lighter grades of petroleum based and biological hydrocarbons. They're excellent for removing solvents and light oils whether they be petroleum or organic. Since we put the bugs "to sleep" in the jug they're a little slower acting. WonderMicrobes Plus are for remediation of heavier crude and petroleum paraffins. The Plus formula has a package of additional bacteria on the side. You add them at the time you are ready to use the product. We can't add them to the liquid solution because they won't go into a sleeping state. When added to the solution they immediately go to work and start digesting larger sized hydrocarbon molecules. Thus they are excellent for heavier oils, greases and raw petroleum and in those situations where you want quicker cleaning action. Please contact us for further information. |
WonderMicrobes should be stored between 10º-40ºC (50º-104ºF). Avoid prolonged exposure to higher temperatures. Keep from freezing.
